Character Background

Iya grew up exposed to the immediate dangers of the world and humanity alike. Unlike most Raen, she was not born in the Eastern Lands. Her story of origin begins in the wilds outside of Ishgard, where a mysterious event occurred within the Dravanian Lands during the rise of Ishgard and the then-ongoing Dragonsong War. The circumstances of her birth are shrouded in mystery, and her memories of this time are hazy. She has since returned to Ishgard, and reawakened her blessing. Her past is guarded, not only by herself but also her true origins, and only those she knows well will uncover those truths.It will take a lot of trust to earn the secrets of Iya's history, as well as to join her on the future of discovery. Her eyes hold the key to her past, and even she is unaware of all to be uncovered. Since reawakening, she aims to hone her newfound abilities and magicks through assisting her friends and continuing to research her own past. Alongside that, she's traversed quite a few new lands and gained new skills as a result - becoming a powerful ally and loyal friend.

Iyashina's Hooks

-Albeit rare, refugees in Ishgard often banded together to escape. She currently is in the process to moving to Kugane. You may have seen her in many spaces, for she has been well-traveled since her escape of Ishgard. She also recently inherited her previous noble's house, becoming one of few Au'ra nobles. (/t for more info!)
-She is the owner of the Seagaze Cafe & Lounge!. It is open bi-weekly on Thursdays! Between journeys,she has hired a helper who'd also love to meet new guests!
-Those with aethersight may see an object or being resembling the Phoenix. It likely is bright, warm, and inviting, much like her demeanor can be.
-She has recently reawakened her abilities, allowing for powerful fire-based magicks both offensively and defensively. Perhaps you might need her powers?
Traveling between the shards and reflections of Eitherys will prove valuable to her adventure. If you could offer assistance in such a way, she'd love to hear it!

OOC Information

Thanks for viewing my Carrd! Here's just a few things to know
-I am open to all types of RP (including mature themes), but also reserve the right to withdraw from anything that I do not feel comfortable participating in, and would expect you also feel/do the same. On an additional note, combat or character harm toward Iya would really need to be discussed prior to events, so please let me know what you have in mind! As a warning, I have no intent to perma-death Iya at this time, so requests involving possible perma-death with characters will likely be declined.
-I'm on EST time zone, and can work with scheduling currently! I do have other in-game and IRL functions to attend regularly, so please reach out ahead of time, it's fairly rare I can jump at the chance to do an impromptu RP.
-I unfortunately suffer from chronic migraines, and at some times I am physically unable to move/function for days. RP scheduling can be hazy due to this, but I do my best and just need some patience!
-OOC=/=IC interactions, please keep them separated. If something needs to be clarified, please ask, as I will do the same.
-I'm 21+ and would appreciate that anyone engaging is also at least 18+
-Discord is available, however I don't generally share it right at the beginning of meeting someone. After a few interactions, I'd be happy to invite that conversation! Also, I don't generally RP over Discord, and prefer to leave it in-game.
-Finally, on some personal notes, the player (myself) is a male. I've ran into many instances of others airing their grievances about that. If this is you, I'd rather not engage. This game is the first instance where I was able to express creativity and imagination freely. If you came into this with separate expectations, that is not on me. Thank you.
